Legally Blonde Summary Elle Woods (Reese Witherspoon), president of the Delta Nu sorority, 4.0 GPA in fashion merchandising at UCLA, and expecting to be proposed to by her boyfriend Warner (Matthew Davis). That is until Warner breaks up with her for not being smart enough to be with him once he starts at Harvard Law School. Once she arrives though, she realizes law school is nothing like college and that Warner is now engaged to an old girlfriend, Vivian (Selma Blair). As Elle continues her year, she makes a friend, Paulette (Jennifer Coolidge) and starts to really enjoy going to law school.
